Our Delivery and Installation Process
Hassle-Free Setup for Your New Structure
Buying a new outdoor structure is the fun part. Getting it from the lot to your property? That’s where we come in. At Penn Dutch Structures, we make delivery and installation simple from start to finish for homeowners across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Each step of our delivery and installation process focuses on your convenience and peace of mind. Our experienced crews and specialized equipment handle every detail and always place your structure exactly where you want it. Let us do the hard part, while you sit back and enjoy your new structure for years to come.
Delivery Made Easy
We deliver right to your door, using a standard pickup truck and a roll-off style trailer designed to safely and efficiently place your structure wherever you want it. Our drivers know how to navigate any property and place even the largest purchase with precision and care.
Tight access? No problem! We offer standard delivery or built on-site options for tricky spots. If there’s not enough room to bring in your structure fully assembled, we use a pre-fab kit. Our crew will deliver all the pieces to your property and assemble them on-location.

Why Customers Love Our Delivery and Installation Process
Most large structures need to be placed on a solid foundation. We recommend a gravel pad that’s 4–6 inches deep using ¾” clean stone. For best results, extend the pad one foot beyond each side of your structure. This way, water runoff from the roof drips onto the gravel, not the soil! This extra foot also reduces the chances of damaging the sides of your structure with any yard equipment.
Many of our customers work with BedRock Siteworks for professional site preparation.
We need to access your property with a pickup truck and trailer. If that’s not possible, our on-site construction option is a great alternative.
Some structures may need to be spun on the trailer before unloading. The largest we can spin is 10×16.
Here’s what our process typically looks like:
- Arrival and site check
- Positioning the structure
- Careful placement on your prepared pad
- Final adjustments and walkthrough
- Clean up (as needed)
Installation time varies by structure, but once on your property, a standard delivery will take around 30 to 45 minutes.
Delivery and installation process fees vary depending on the location, size of the structure, and the accessibility of your property.
